After practicing veterinary medicine for about 10 years in the Midwest, I moved to Fitzgerald in 2007 and started working with Dr. Smith. I enjoy living in Fitzgerald, and working with pet owners to keep their beloved pets happy and healthy.

Lover of creativity and connection, I find joy in arts and crafts, jamming out to live music, and making memories with my daughter, family, and friends. A proud pet parent to Rosy (the sassiest cat) and Penny (the chirpiest bird), I’m fueled by good company and an unshakable obsession with peanut butter — in all its glorious forms. Life’s best moments are handmade, heartfelt, and occasionally nutty.

My journey into the veterinary field began with my homeschooling experience, which deeply inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to animal care. While becoming a veterinarian was my initial goal, I found that being a vet tech was the perfect fit for me.
I am blessed with two wonderful children, Samantha and Jonah, who bring immense joy and energy to my life. Our home is bustling with a variety of animals, including pigs, horses, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and even one goat. This lively menagerie keeps us all busy and constantly entertained.
In my free time, I love to indulge in reading, horseback riding, and fishing. These hobbies provide a perfect balance to my work and family life, allowing me to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.

I started my journey with Smith Veterinary Hospital in 2024. Caring for and helping animals truly makes my heart happy. I share my life with three dogs, three cats, and a foster dog who has been with me for almost a year. Fostering animals is something I enjoy whenever I have the opportunity.
In my free time, I love being outside or by the water, soaking up the beauty of nature. I survived a cancer diagnosis in 2021, which taught me to live every day to the fullest. My animals bring immense joy and fulfillment to my life, and together, we make the most of each moment. My resilience and love for animals and life is truly inspiring to me and others!
Welcome to my world, where love for animals and a zest for life keep me motivated and grateful every day!

At 23, I’m a proud parent to a beautiful little girl who inspires everything I do. I’m all about loyalty, laughter, and making memories — whether I’m chasing whitetails in the woods, sharing chicken dinners, or spending time with my tight-knit crew of family and friends. Dogs are my kindred spirits, and I’m driven every day by the dream of building a future my daughter can be proud of.

I find joy in the great outdoors, a deep connection with animals, and a love for bringing ideas to life—whether it’s fixing up vehicles or crafting something beautiful. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Agriculture with a concentration in Animal Science. I dream of opening my own veterinary clinic that provides comprehensive care for both small and large animals. I want to make every type of care available to humans available to pets! From rescuing strays and painting vibrant scenes to baking treats and exploring new places, I live life with purpose, heart, and creativity.

A devoted animal lover and aspiring veterinary assistant, I’ve spent my life surrounded by a diverse crew of pets—from loyal pups and curious cats to chirpy finches and a gentle rabbit. My journey has been shaped by hands-on experience and volunteer work, always driven by the desire to make life better for animals in need. One unforgettable moment was helping release rescued terrapins at Tybee Island during college—an experience that reminded me just how impactful compassionate care can be. With every pawprint and feather, I’m one step closer to turning my passion into lifelong purpose.

My journey began with Smith Veterinary Hospital in October 1993. I share my life with an adorable cat named Purr-cee who keeps me company and brings joy to my days.
I’m passionate about gardening, finding peace and satisfaction in nurturing plants and creating a beautiful outdoor space. When I’m not in the garden, you can often find me watching HGTV or the Food Channel, gathering inspiration and new ideas for home projects and delicious recipes.
I also love going to the beach, soaking up the sun, and enjoying the calming sound of the waves. Shopping is another favorite pastime, whether I’m hunting for unique finds or simply indulging in some retail therapy.
Welcome to my world, where a love for gardening, beach outings, and a cozy home life with Purr-cee make every day wonderful!
